AICat is free to use, and our regular AI Assisted search is great and doesn't use any credits. For complex vibe-like queries (like: I'm tired and I need something to cheer me up, but no clowns please), and more creative results, LLM assists can offer an advantage. Since these aren't free for us, we impose limits on our API keys.
You can use your own Google or Groq API key for unlimited requests with no limits on our side. We recommend Groq; it's fast, free, and their free rate limits typically cover around 1000 LLM searches per day.
